Politico just reported that McConnell and his allies are heavily trying to recruit a whole slew of wealthy Republicans to run for Senate seats in 2024.

That could be a huge headache for Democrats. If we’re not ready, a Republican opponent could swoop in with massive sums of money and put this seat into play.

Chris has dealt with a self-funding opponent before, but it’s impossible without grassroots support. So we need to make clear to any potential opponents that this team will not let them buy this seat.

We are facing an incredibly tough Senate map next year. It’s unlike anything we’ve dealt with in nearly thirty years — considering we are entirely on defense.
