Earlier this week, we were looking over our fundraising numbers to make
plans for the rest of 2023. When we compared the number of individual
contributions we’ve gotten so far this year to the amount we’d gotten by
this time in 2021, we were shocked. Check it out:

The support we got in 2021 led to huge wins for Summer Lee and more
Justice Democrats in 2022, and what we raise right now is critical to our
candidate recruitment efforts and success in 2024.

The work we’re planning to do this cycle — searching for, recruiting,
training, and helping to elect progressive candidates — is not going to be
easy, and it’s not going to be cheap either.
