Exciting news!

In the past week, our campaign has been endorsed by Arizona Youth Climate Strike and 350 Action — two organizations leading the movement on climate action!

Arizona Youth Climate Strike is a group of young leaders advocating for bold climate action. 350 Action is mobilizing voters and volunteers across the country to break the fossil fuel industry’s grip on our democracy, and elect progressive climate champions.

Both organizations know what it takes to not only tackle the climate crisis, but to ensure a just and equitable future for all .

It’s clear that Eva is the only climate champion in the race for Arizona’s First District. She is the only candidate who is vocally advocating for real, equitable climate action like the Green New Deal. This crisis needs bold action NOW, and Eva is the only candidate in the race who wants to face the challenge head on.

By contrast, Eva’s opponent doesn’t support the Green New Deal and takes $10,000 from Pinnacle West, the parent company of APS. APS is known in Arizona for unjustly hiking rates on customers as well as pumping millions in dark money to support candidates that “share an interest in public policy that furthers our business objectives."

Arizonans deserve real action towards the climate crisis, not hollow words from a representative bought by corrupt energy companies.

We thank these two organizations for their work in dealing with the climate emergency, and we’re honored to work alongside them.
