"House Dems introduce bill responding to Texas abortion pill ruling" -- Axios

john,

Earlier this month, a Trump-appointed judge in Texas reversed an FDA approval for a safe and commonly-used abortion drug, mifepristone. Make no mistake: this decision was a purely political one, and has no scientific or medical basis.

While this pill is still legal and accessible at this time, it's clear that far-right judges and legislators will stop at nothing to ban this pill nationwide.

Kim knows we need to act now to protect access to reproductive care. That's why she is proud to support the Protecting Reproductive Freedom Act. This legislation would clarify that the FDA has final say on medication abortion and ensure health care providers can prescribe abortion pills via telemedicine.

As a doctor and congresswoman, Kim will always fight to ensure every person has access to the reproductive care they need. Are you with her?

Thanks,

To win back the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and reclaim the House majority in 2024?
