Hi there,

It’s almost Earth Day! As we get closer to the end of the school term and graduation, you’re probably wondering what you’ll do next year.

If you want a job where you can take on our most pressing issues, learn skills, and work with a team of passionate people, turn in your application to be a campus organizer by our Spring Deadline, this Earth Day April 22nd!! ([link removed])

For example, we’re looking for organizers to join our team and work to break free from plastics. ([link removed])

Every day, people throw away tons of plastic “stuff”—cups, plates, bags, containers, forks, knives, spoons, and more. All of this waste not only clogs our landfills, trashes our parks, and litters our streets, but it also washes into our rivers and oceans, where it can harm wildlife.

Nothing we use for 5 minutes should pollute our planet for generations.

That’s why we’re calling for campus, city, and statewide bans on single use plastic products, including straws and take-out foam cups and containers.

If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, then learn more and submit your online application by Earth Day April 22nd. ([link removed])

Best,

Student PIRGs
