Ornge Air Ambulance was called to the scene of a serious two-vehicle collision recently just east of Guelph, airlifting one person to hospital.
A section of Wellington Road 124 was closed for roughly an hour after the collision involving an SUV and a sedan near the intersection of Wellington Road 124 and 4th Line, roughly four kilometres east of Guelph.

After a fall that broke her leg, Debbie Boissonneault, president of Cupe Local 204, says she waited 30 minutes for an ambulance to arrive. The delay left her with very little choice.
“I just went outside my house and I slipped off my bottom stair, it had some ice on it, when I fell I heard something crack,” explained Debbie Boissonneault.

Hamilton should see improved paramedic service with budget boost

City paramedics responded to 98,114 emergencies in 2022, up from 90,892 in 2021. In 2022, the increase in service demands was double the increase in demand from recent years.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a paramedic who was repeatedly stabbed in an ambulance at a Sydney McDonald’s carpark.
Steven Tougher — a 29-year-old paramedic — was approaching the end of his shift and sitting in the back of the ambulance doing paperwork when his attacker pulled open the door and stabbed him multiple times.
