Gillibrand 2020

**********

Jack, I just stepped off the debate stage in Detroit. I hope I made you proud up there.

I'm running for president to clean up the mess Donald Trump has made. That's why I like to joke that my first act as president will be to Clorox the Oval Office.

But more than that, we need a nominee willing to take on the big fights—who doesn't know the definition of impossible.

From my successful fight to repeal Don’t Ask, Don't Tell to finally passing the 9/11 compensation bill last week, I've taken on big fights and won my entire career—even when no one thought I could do it, even when I had to go it alone, even when people said it was impossible.

And defeating Donald Trump? Definitely not impossible.

I'm just getting started talking about my brave vision for the country. But I need your help to make sure I can keep doing it.

Our July fundraising deadline expires at midnight tonight, and there are just a few short weeks left to get me across the DNC's 130,000-donor threshold and secure my spot at the September debate.

Jack, the most important thing you can do right now to help my campaign is donate any amount—even $1—to become one of the 130,000 donors the DNC says I need to stay in these debates. If I made you proud tonight, will you step up right now?

Thank you for everything,

Kirsten

P.S. I'm not taking money from corporate PACs, federal lobbyists, or fossil fuel executives, and I don't have a super PAC—it's just us, together, building this campaign one person at a time. I hope you can join me.
