I'm delighted to invite you to this year's edition of the NYCI Artivism Summer School in association with our Global Youth Work team, where we will focus on
 Using Visual Arts And Spoken Word To Make Your Voice Heard On The SDGs! 

When & where: 
3 residential days in Maynooth University: 27th - 29th May

The immersive summer school experience provides space for participants to benefit from a supportive environment where they can explore their own creativity and artivism, reflect on global youth work as a critical youth work practice, and share experiences with peers.

The summer school will help you to:
  • Develop an understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how to incorporate personal, local, national, and global perspectives in your work with young people.
  • Explore artivism and the power of art to amplify young people’s voices on issues they care about.
  • Experience content and resources that you can shape into a summer artivism project exploring the SDGs with your young people
