The House GOP recently passed H.R. 1 – a bill number reserved for any incoming Leadership's highest legislative priority – which would:

• Gut community protections from the National Environmental Policy Act,
• Give Big Oil and mining companies access to public lands, and
• Allow corporate polluters more freedom to drill and mine in our communities, without letting us have a say.

Make no mistake, John, this legislation, aptly nicknamed the Polluters Over People Act, would put corporate profits and Wall Street over protecting American families from the climate crisis and stifle attempts to lower home energy costs for working families.

Suzan is holding polluters accountable and pushing for a cleaner, brighter future for us all. But to put a stop to climate-damaging legislation like this from ever becoming law, we need to fight for our Democratic majority right now.
