Here’s what you need to know: In early March, Coloradans faced significant cuts in their SNAP benefits, and hardworking families who were already struggling with rising costs were suddenly left with a substantial gap – overwhelming food banks across the state.

That’s why Yadira introduced the Keeping Families Fed Act, which will close the gap, extend the benefits for one year, and require every state SNAP agency to share resources and guidance so families are prepared when the extension does end.
