While I was there exposing Jim Jordan’s hearing on crime for what it truly was (a sad, pathetic attack on District Attorney Alvin Bragg), Kevin McCarthy was just downtown at the New York Stock Exchange, telling Wall Street executives how he plans to hold the debt ceiling hostage until he can cut SNAP food assistance for low-income Americans.
