Hours ago, the Supreme Court once again stayed a far-right federal judge’s order to invalidate approval of the abortion pill mifepristone through midnight Friday.
For the next two days, mifepristone will remain legal, approved through 10 weeks, and available through the mail.
We’re relieved at this brief extension of the stay. But it’s the absolute bare minimum.
Our fight is not over and anti-abortion extremists will not rest. They intend to ban abortion everywhere — by whatever means they can.
We need to prepare for anything the anti-abortion extremists will throw at us next, because the Supreme Court’s stay will EXPIRE after Friday.
