Being a member of Congress isn’t supposed to be a popularity contest. I don’t care to be the Marjorie Taylor Greene or George Santos of the Democratic Party.

I’m all about transparency and representing the needs of each and every constituent. And if that means working behind the scenes to protect our manufacturing economy, ensure affordable childcare, protect abortion access, then so be it.
