Better Bus is an initiative to rethink, redesign, and revitalize bus service to better serve the needs of customers in the region. Through a network redesign, Metro is taking a fresh and detailed look at bus service and routes to serve you better. Come show your appreciation with a fun party atmosphere: DJ, gold décor, cupcakes, popcorn, candy, goodie bags, face painting, photobooth, and more! Join the fun at THEARC.

Hill Family Biking: Kidical Mass Ride [[link removed]]

Join the newly-formed Hill Family Biking group in their first monthly family-friendly "Kidical Mass" bike ride starting at the triangle park at A St and North Carolina Ave NE, and ending with ice cream at Capital Candy Jar (4 miles).

Ask your member of Congress to support HR 1668 [[link removed]] The Sarah Debbink Langenkamp Active Transportation Safety Act: Named for the cyclist and diplomat who was killed by a driver in Bethesda last summer, this bill would increase the share of an active transportation project's cost that can be covered using Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funding, streamline bureaucracy related to the nomination of active transportation projects for HSIP funding, and strengthen guidance around the use of HSIP funds for bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure connectivity and safety.
