John,
Today marks Tina’s 100th day in office! What Governor Kotek has been able to achieve in her first 100 days is significant, so we’re taking a well-deserved moment to celebrate the progress made — as well as acknowledge the progress that still needs to be made.
From her first day in office, Tina made it clear her administration would be laser-focused on making life better for Oregonians in three main priority areas: Housing and homelessness, mental health and addiction services, and early literacy.
On housing, Tina’s proud of the recently signed Housing Emergency Response Package — a down payment on all the work needed to solve the housing and homelessness crisis. Oregon is getting to work building more affordable housing, adding shelter beds, preventing evictions, and more.
On education, Tina’s excited about the progress on the bipartisan Early Literacy Success Initiative, which would invest $120 million into schools, community organizations, and tribes in order to boost childhood literacy rates.
On behavioral health, Tina is doubling down on her commitment to decrease preventable deaths due to substance abuse or mental health issues, support the behavioral health workforce, and disrupt the homelessness-jail-hospital pipeline.
There’s still more work to be done, but in her first 100 days Tina has proven that her administration has what it takes to deliver results and put Oregon on a brighter path.
John, sign the card congratulating Governor Kotek on a remarkable first 100 days in office! There’s even a spot to leave a personal note for Tina. [[link removed]]

As Tina said today, “to get big things done, we must first believe they are possible – and in Oregon, we do believe in the possible.”
Thanks for believing in the possible with us, John, and for helping us get the big things done.
