The Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Settings Rule went into effect this March, and we want to make sure self-advocates know how to talk about and make full use of their rights! This Rule is all about our right to receive services that are truly community-based and that respect our rights, rather than being stuck in “institutions in disguise.”
On the weekend of Saturday, April 22nd, we will be holding a two day training on the HCBS Settings Rule! Join us to talk about how the HCBS Settings Rule can protect our rights around long term services and support in our homes and communities. This webinar will be in plain language.
This webinar will answer questions like:
What is the HCBS Settings Rule?
How can I find out what rights I have under the HCBS Rule?
What do I do if my rights are violated?
What are corrective action plans?
When am I getting my rights?
And more!
The training will take place over Saturday, April 22 and Sunday April 23 and be broken into three sessions:
Saturday, April 22:
Session 1: 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm, ET
Break: 1:30-3:00pm
Session 2: 3:00-5:30 pm
Sunday, April 23:
Session 3: 12:00-3:00 pm
