John –

On Monday, Hank sent a letter to Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan, demanding that they hold a hearing and a floor vote on the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency (SCERT) Act — a bill that Hank introduced to create a code of ethics for Supreme Court justices.

If you stand with Hank, add your name to our letter from American voters demanding that Republicans hold a hearing and a vote on the SCERT Act >> [link removed]

Why is this so important? Just take a look at the news from the last week about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, who:

- Has accepted lavish gifts and vacations from billionaire and GOP mega-donor Harlan Crow for more than 20 years

- Sold real estate to Crow and then hid the transaction by refusing to disclose it as required by law

- Still rules on cases in which his wife Ginni has a direct financial stake, despite the clear conflict of interest

- Refuses to recuse himself from Supreme Court cases regarding January 6th, even though his wife was one of Trump’s top lieutenants pushing the false “stop the steal” narrative around the 2020 presidential election

John, 34 other members of Congress signed Hank’s letter to McCarthy and Jordan, because they agree that it’s time to hold rogue justices like Clarence Thomas accountable.

If you agree with Hank and 34 other conscientious members of Congress that we need Supreme Court ethics reform now, you have a chance to sign Hank’s other letter to Kevin McCarthy and Jim Jordan — not from members of Congress, but from American voters — demanding a hearing and vote on the SCERT Act. Add your name now >>

Thank you for your advocacy, John.
