The 2023 Illinois Educator Diversity Summit

On Monday, March 27th, 2023, The Hunt Institute hosted the 2023 Illinois Educator Diversity Summit at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center in Springfield, Illinois. This event was developed in partnership with The Honorable Juliana Stratton, Lieutenant Governor of Illinois, who is a champion of educator diversity. School-Based Healthcare Can Address Children’s Unmet Health Needs: Models, Evidence, and Policies

The Hunt Institute has partnered with Dr. Sarah Komisarow ([link removed]) , Assistant Professor of Public Policy and Economics and a Faculty Affiliate of the Center for Child and Family Policy at Duke University, on her policy brief examining the state of school-aged children’s health and healthcare access in the U.S., the link between children’s health and educational performance, as well as models and examples of school-based healthcare. ** The Hunt Institute to host the 4th Meeting of Elevate NC's 3rd Cohort
------------------------------------------------------------

On May 8-9, 2023, Cohort 3 of Elevate NC will convene in Durham, NC, for the fourth and final meeting. Attendees will discuss taking action to support postsecondary attainment.
