We may be over a year out from Election Day, but we already know that this is going to be one of the most important races in the country. Kirsten announced that she was running for Arizona's Sixth Congressional District last week, and news sites are already taking notice:

Despite being outspent more than 6:1, Kirsten lost in 2022 by just one percentage point . That means this seat will be one of Democrat's top opportunities to take back control of the House — and no one is better suited to run (and win!) in this district than Kirsten.

"Arizona Democrat Kirsten Engel announced Wednesday that she would seek a rematch against Republican Rep. Juan Ciscomani in the 6th Congressional District, a constituency in the Tucson area that she came unexpectedly close to winning in 2022 even after national Democratic groups canceled their planned spending . Engel, who is a former state senator and environmental lawyer, is the first serious candidate to challenge Ciscomani in a contest that could be key to a future Democratic majority ."
