Dear Friend, As we start this election year, I am excited to run on my record and vision for our district. A vision we share of a new politics: a community that accepts everyone, a working public transportation system, a restored faith in government and a representative who cares about the needs of his constituency. In 2018, we started a movement for change in southern Brooklyn that put these issues front and center in the minds of our friends and neighbors across every corner of our district. I’ve followed through on my commitments to you. I’ve opened three offices across the district, held multiple informative town halls, and encouraged constituents to request a meeting through a public online form. No longer do you need to be a lobbyist or influencer to have access to your government. Up in Albany, the Democratic Senate made historic reforms to our archaic election system, invested an unprecedented $1 billion more for our public schools, and passed the landmark sexual harassment legislation. We also proudly passed a historic expansion of the effective school speed camera program, fulfilling my promise to my community that I would get it done to keep our children and seniors safe. But there is still so much to do, and I need your continued support in pursuing our shared vision. Will you join me this year? Let’s move forward, together. Best,
