John, Katie just broke a record!

On the 100th day of the legislative session, she vetoed bills pushed by extreme Republicans that did nothing to address the issues everyday Arizonans are facing.

And in doing so, Katie broke the record for most vetoes by an Arizona governor.

Since day one, Katie has stayed true to her promise to prioritize working families, our environment, our fundamental rights, and so much more.

On the flip side, extreme Republican state legislators have sent a slew of bills to her desk that do nothing to help move Arizona forward.

Instead, they’ve tried to ban books from classrooms, fuel election conspiracy theories, restrict reproductive freedom, and attack LGBTQ+ Arizonans. Thankfully, Katie was able to shut those batty bills down with her veto stamp:
