Dear Friend,

Recently I joined Dave Lombardo on his podcast, The Capitol Pressroom, to discuss the failures of the NYS Democratic Party in last year's elections and what I think we need to do now so our party can do better in the future. 

And if we’re being honest, it’s not just about last year: I’ve been sounding the alarm about the failure of our state party for several years now. 

The state party we deserve will  show up for candidates year-round to build a coalition of supporters that truly represents New York's diverse population. This means engaging with grassroots organizations, labor unions, and advocacy groups to build a broad-based movement. The state party we deserve is also strategic in their outreach efforts by investing in state party infrastructure, aligning our messaging, and running effective voter outreach campaigns to change the narrative and put Democrats back on the offensive.

I urge you to join me in this effort to build a stronger, more united Democratic Party that truly represents the people of New York.
