It is complete bullshit that a single judge in Texas just effectively banned the abortion pill nationwide — including in pro-choice states like my own. 

It’s bullshit because these anti-choice extremists argued for decades that a woman’s right to choose is actually a "states' rights'' issue, and now they are trying to control women’s bodies in every corner of this country. 

If you’re as outraged as I am and ready to fight to protect abortion access from these extremist attacks, then I urgently need you to sign my emergency petition before midnight tonight to defend a woman’s right to choose.

We knew that when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last summer, anti-choice extremists were just beginning their all-out assault on reproductive rights. 

We’re already seeing the consequences of these anti-choice policies play out in states like Texas and Arizona, where women are getting sick and risking death because they can’t access the reproductive care that they need.

But now they’re attacking the freedoms of every woman seeking reproductive care, even in proudly pro-choice states like Nevada, California and New York. I will not stand by as these extremists attempt to strip away women’s rights across this country, and I hope you won’t either, John.

I’m personally asking you to join me in defending abortion access across this country and fighting back against these attacks by adding your name to this petition before midnight tonight.
