Should girls have to compete against men?

Tell Your Member of Congress to Vote to Save Girls' Sports

How would you respond if you, your daughter, granddaughter or sister lost a gold medal or scholarship simply because a male competitor placed higher in the women’s competition?

Sadly, this is the recurring story we are seeing across the country—biological males being allowed to compete in women’s only sports because that male decided that they no longer wanted to identify as their biological sex.

This is unfair, unsafe and discriminatory toward women who fought hard to excel in sports only to be told they are no longer at the top of their league.

Thankfully, since 2020, a total of 20 states have passed commonsense protections for women in sports, and FPA has been fighting to ensure those bills were passed. FPA will continue to advocate for more states to pass legislation to save girls’ sports.

Unfortunately, the Biden Administration continues to propose executive mandates to subvert those new state laws. We are watching this matter closely and will, very soon, let you know how you can help stand against the latest Biden rule jeopardizing women's sports.

Right now, we need Congress to respond in a big way. We shared earlier this year that Congressman Greg Steube (R-FL) introduced a bill, H.R. 734, in the House to protect the original intention of Title IX and equal opportunities for women and girls in athletics. That bill passed committee and is headed to the House floor for a vote on Thursday!

H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, makes sure that Title IX provisions protect women and girls from discrimination and physical harm in athletics. Title IX was enacted in 1972 to advance women’s rights by ensuring no one can be denied equal access to educational opportunities on the basis of sex.

Women and girls across the country rely on these protections, and we need your help to tell Congress to fight back against the administration’s attempts to sideline female competitors.

Please save girls’ sports by taking a moment to head to our action center and tell your congressional member to vote in favor of the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act.

TAKE ACTION TODAY [link removed]

Women and girls deserve better. Thank you for standing to protect and promote equal opportunities!

Sincerely,
