As the Democrats have finished laying out their opening arguments in the Senate impeachment trial, they have made it obvious that their case is built on flimsy, circumstantial evidence. Instead of presenting key facts or new information, they have repeated what was said during the House impeachment inquiry over and over again.

This sham impeachment isn’t about finding the truth; it’s about trying to overturn the results of the 2016 election while wasting the American people’s time. Even House manager Rep. Adam Schiff said the 2020 election “cannot be decided at the ballot box”.
