Dear John --

Today I’ve announced that, under my leadership, National will rule out working with New Zealand First to form a Government after the 2020 Election.

I can’t trust New Zealand First, and I don’t believe New Zealanders can either.

This Labour/Green/NZ First Government has failed to deliver for New Zealanders. The cost of living has gone up, taxes have been piled on, there’s been no new infrastructure, and crime has risen making your family less safe.

I believe New Zealanders need to have a clear choice, and certainty, when they go to the ballot box in September.

A Party Vote for National will mean more money in your back pocket, more transport infrastructure and safety for your family.

The decisions we make, and the policy we put forward, will be about what’s best for New Zealanders, not New Zealand First.

Our campaign has hit the ground running and we can’t do it without you. The election is less than 8 months away, and the choice couldn't be more critical for the future of New Zealand.

Are you prepared to risk more broken promises, higher taxes, and inaction on the issues that matter? Or do you want a National Party that will get things done.

Can you chip into our Campaign Fighting Fund right now?

Together, we have the opportunity to make history by turning this Labour/Green/NZ First coalition into a one term government.
