Cori just became the first member of the House Judiciary Committee to call for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ impeachment.
Justice Thomas shouldn’t hold public office, given his history of sexual harassment and abuse. Even further, he has disgraced the integrity of the Supreme Court with his complete disregard for ethical standards.

ICYMI, here is a brief overview of all the reasons Clarence Thomas should not be on the Court:
- Decades of attacking marginalized communities while sitting on the highest Court in the country
- Secretly accepted undisclosed luxury gifts over two decades from a billionaire Republican mega donor
- Played a role in overturning Roe v. Wade — and further expressed his intent to overturn court rulings protecting marriage equality
- Voted against a Supreme Court ruling that would release the Trump administration’s records related to the January 6th insurrection — which his wife played a role in
Justice Thomas has proven himself time and time again to be in the pocket of the rich and well-connected. He has shown he cannot rule with impartiality and his continued presence on the bench continues to damage the legitimacy of the highest court. He has made further disgrace of an already-illegitimate Supreme Court.
