Join ZOA: Fight for Israel on Capitol Hill – Tuesday, May 16, 2023 The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA)’s Annual Capitol Hill Advocacy Mission in Washington, D.C. will take place on May 16, 2023. Now more than ever, it’s crucial that our lawmakers hear from you in person and all of us about the importance of ensuring Israel’s safety and security and the fight against antisemitism. These times are becoming more perilous and much of the world is increasingly hostile to the Jewish State of Israel and to Jews. Iran is on the threshold of producing nuclear weapons, and continues to target Israel with every capability they have. Iran continues to threaten Israel with its buildup of missiles and its nuclear program. The Palestinian Authority (PA) has codified into law its policy to pay Arabs to murder Jews. The more Jews an Arab kills, the higher the pension. These killers are also guaranteed a top government job once they get out of prison. The PA spends $400 million a year on these rewards. Israelis are attacked every day by terrorists sponsored by the PA. The Palestinian Authority continues to promote hatred and violence against Jews in their schools, media, speeches, and sermons. They continue to officially praise Jew killers as martyrs. There is now an increasing number of overt public antisemitic Israel-bashers in Congress. They repeatedly make hateful statements against the Jewish State and the Jewish people – with virtually no consequences. Many Congressmen openly call for interference in internal Israeli sovereign affairs. ZOA is concerned about the new Gallup poll which frighteningly shows more Democrats sympathize with the Palestinian Arabs (49%) than Israel (38%). ZOA is a non-partisan organization, but we need to face this reality. Polls show that 74% to 93% of Arabs in the countries in the Mideast are antisemitic. Jewish students are being harassed and discriminated against on campuses. Help educate our lawmakers in Washington, D.C. about the perils threatening Israel and jeopardizing our own country’s security.
