** Hi
Friend of Trevor,
------------------------------------------------------------

Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, The Trevor Project’s 2,400+ trained volunteers are on the front lines — working one-on-one with LGBTQ young people to help them navigate tough times.

The empathy, connection, and hope that volunteers offer can make all the difference. Trevor’s research shows that acceptance from at least one adult can decrease the risk of an LGBTQ young person attempting suicide by 40% .

To mark National Volunteer Week, I ask you to celebrate Trevor’s volunteers by making your gift today. ([link removed]) Help ensure they have the resources they need to be there for LGBTQ young people in crisis.

This past year, Trevor’s volunteers answered more than 260,000 calls, texts, and chats — offering a lifeline to LGBTQ young people facing anxiety, depression or feeling overwhelmed.

With every conversation, our volunteers show that there are people in this world who affirm and celebrate LGBTQ young people — even if their families and communities may not. Here’s what that means in the words of one young person who called Trevor.
