Friend,
This year, Earth Day's a little sweeter. Thanks to President Biden's
leadership, we now have the largest investments in climate action and
clean energy ever! People across America can already see the president’s
clean energy plan hard at work. From Arizona to Georgia, these historic
investments create good-paying jobs and accelerate the transition to a
clean economy.
While the Inflation Reduction Act is projected to cut climate pollution by
an estimated 40% by 2030, we can’t stop there. If we're going to slash
climate pollution in half by the end of the decade - which is what
scientists say is needed, and what President Biden committed to doing - we
must do much more.Â
It's time to finish the climate job, starting with implementing the
strongest possible pollution protections. If you agree, take one simple
action this Earth Day and sign our petition here!Â

We can't delay action any longer. Last year, we experienced 18 storms that
cost $1 billion or more. By this measure alone, climate inaction costs at
least $5,230 per second. Over the past decade, between deadly heat and
droughts, and catastrophic storms, 90% of American counties suffered an
extreme weather event fueled by climate change.Â
That's why we need President Biden to finish the job on climate. Every
second that we don't act is a missed opportunity - causing more harm to
our environment, more lives lost, and more dollars spent.Â
Want to celebrate Earth Day with us? Well, on April 22nd at 9 AM we want
to give you some free coffee and pastries, discuss our climate crisis, and
take you on a hike in the Wetlands Park — [ [link removed] ]sign-up and join us! We also
