Elissa launched her campaign for U.S. Senate just over six weeks ago – it’s been a busy few weeks of traveling across Michigan, and we’re only just getting started. That’s why we’re reaching out to ask if you will make your first donation to Elissa Slotkin’s campaign today.
Right now, Elissa’s focused on meeting as many Michiganders as she possibly can. So far, she’s made multiple stops in Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Macomb County, Ann Arbor, and Lansing as part of her listening tour. She’s been speaking with local community leaders, visiting small businesses, and digging in with voters to learn more about what they're looking for in their next U.S. Senator.
We’re making good progress, but it will take quite a bit of resources to build out an effective and strategic operation in this notorious swing state. Elissa doesn’t accept corporate PAC money, which means we rely on grassroots supporters chipping in what they can, when they can, to make stops like these happen.
Over the years, we’ve proven this is an effective strategy. Our campaigns have always been fueled by lots of people coming together to give – in fact, 89% of the contributions to Elissa’s Congressional campaigns were $100 or less. And that’s the same way we’ll keep this seat and the Senate blue.
