“I am Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation (PTSF), the accrediting body of trauma centers in PA. Our trauma centers are actively involved in teaching STOP THE BLEED® programs in their communities. We formed a coalition that taught 4000 state police and distributed tourniquets to each of them. I also serve as District Governor in Rotary International (RI) District 7390. I have been promoting partnerships between Trauma Centers and Rotary Clubs to encourage STOP THE BLEED® education and distribution of bleeding control kits in schools and public areas. I submitted a speaker proposal to speak on my STOP THE BLEED® efforts at the RI Convention in Australia in June 2023.”

The Coalition is a community of individuals and organizations who are passionate about the STOP THE BLEED® campaign. The Coalition’s goal is to support the growth and impact of the campaign by providing access to information and services to the growing STOP THE BLEED® community as well as financial support to the STOP THE BLEED® Project.
STOP THE BLEED® is a national campaign to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. It is a public/private partnership led by the Department of Defense and many other stakeholders, including the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
