Horseracing season hits its peak next month. Leading up to the biggest events of the season, we’re shining a spotlight on the horses suffering in the shadows who need our help today.

If you received my recent emails, you know the terrors that thousands of America’s horses endure each year—a grueling trip across our country’s borders, followed by a gruesome slaughter in which some horses are still alive as they’re dismembered, just so their meat can be served on some foreign dinnerplate. 

Your support will help us fight to pass the SAFE Act in Congress to ban horse slaughter in the U.S. and stop horses from being shipped abroad for slaughter. With your $20 gift, you’ll help us advocate for innocent animals wherever they need us.

We have a proven track record of fighting for animals. In 2020, we passed the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Act, which eliminates many cruel practices in horseracing, such as the abuse of performance enhancing drugs. The law also improves safety measures for both horses and jockeys. But even with this victory, horses are still suffering.

We must keep up our fight for horses by banning horse slaughter, while we advance all our efforts to end animal cruelty and exploitation. Will you please help and contribute to all our efforts today?
