In the face of the climate crisis, the best way forward for our planet is to power up energy transitions around the globe that are rooted in equity and justice. That's why we launched our Solutions Fund, so that we can directly fund transitions to clean energy worldwide, and so we can bring our climate campaigning to the next level.
Our goal is to reach 3,500 contributions to our Solutions Fund by Earth Day, which is on Saturday. Every contribution will help fund our clean energy transition projects and build our climate campaigning capacity.
We've already helped train people on transitioning to solar energy in Pacific nations. Next, we're building capacity in South Africa to help that country move to a socially owned, renewable energy-powered economy to address their energy crisis.
Our Solutions Fund is taking the solution to our climate crisis directly to the people, and putting the power of transition in the hands of those who can make it happen.
Unlike other goals we've had before, this is not about how much money we raise. We're aiming for 3,500 contributions before Earth Day because it's about how many people can come together and donate for the future of our planet.
