John, we just got a new development in our race for Senate: Last week, a pro-Trump, anti-choice Republican announced that he was also running for California's Senate seat.

LA Times: "...a vocal supporter of former President Trump, [this new GOP opponent] embraces some of the Republican Party’s most conservative stances, including new restrictions on abortion..."

To be frank, my new opponent is everything that is wrong about the Republican party. 

But sadly, we know GOP megadonors will be on his side to pour money into California. So we need to keep up with our fundraising goals to stay one step ahead, and that means raising $5,000 by midnight.

So I have to ask, without another moment to spare: Will you rush a donation right now to help send me to the Senate and build a progressive future for all?
