I am writing to you today with some great news: The Minnesota House of Representatives just passed the Democracy for the People Act. This legislation will make voting more accessible, secure, and fair for all Minnesotans.
The Democracy for the People Act will
✅ Provide automatic voter registration,
✅ Allow 16- and 17-year-old citizens to pre-register to vote,
✅ Add more transparency to campaign finance rules,
✅ Bar intimidation of voters,
✅ Make it a crime to interfere with someone who is trying to register to vote or cast a ballot.
These are some of the priorities I’ve been working to achieve for years.
However, the fight is not over yet. We need your help to urge the Minnesota Senate to pass the Democracy for the People Act. We need to make sure every voice is heard and every vote counts. That's why I’m asking you to sign your name to support this crucial legislation.
House passage of the Democracy for the People Act is a huge step forward for the freedom to vote in Minnesota. We have the opportunity to keep the momentum going, so I need your help in making sure voter access is expanded and all eligible voters have the opportunity to make their voices heard.
Please join me and show your support for democracy by signing your name to the petition to pass the Democracy for the People Act in Minnesota. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that everyone has a fair chance to participate in our democracy. Add your name now →
Thank you for your support, team!
