Senate bill 770 is a new bill sponsored by Senator Scott Wiener – a more incremental approach to single-payer. The other bill, sponsored by Assemblyman Ash Kalra, is one that we’ve seen in the past, an approach that would mean a complete takeover of health care by state government. She also updates listeners on Sen. Bernie Sanders’ new efforts at the federal level.
