Hello Friend,

Can you believe it has been 15 years since GGWash started? We have so much to celebrate. Just look around our city and our region — new bike lanes, new zoning, new transit facilities and policies, even solar panels in historic districts. Our region is being shaped by our wins.

If you're reading this email, you're part of that history, and we'd like nothing more than to celebrate with you. Join us from 6:00-9:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, at Hook Hall in Northwest DC. Tickets include food, drinks, and a fantastic night out in support of a great cause.

The Soirée also features a silent auction! From vacation rentals on the Potomac and Lake Champlain, to exclusive Silver Line swag, to local urbanist art, we've got amazing experiences and items up for bid. I am excited to put on a dress, let my hair down, and share joy with you all. 

Over the course of 15 years, together, we have accomplished so much. We've changed the way thousands of people think and talk about land use, housing, and transportation. We've published thousands upon thousands of stories. We've shaped new laws and inspired residents to run for local office.

We've built a movement.

But there is more work to do. Every day, we're working toward the vision of this region as a place where housing is abundant and affordable and it's safe and easy to get around without a car; a region where land use, housing, and transportation decisions advance racial, social, and environmental justice.

Whether you've been with us for the whole bus ride or just joined at the last stop, I hope you can join us on April 27.
