I wanted to reach out today to tell you a bit about my good friend, Dr. Kim Schrier.

Since winning her "toss-up" race in Washington's competitive 8th Congressional District against a MAGA opponent, Kim has been hard at work fighting for the folks in her district — and all across our state.

As the only pro-choice woman doctor — and first pediatrician — in Congress, Kim brings a unique perspective to issues related to health care, and it's crucial that we don't lose her voice in the House.

I am honored to have worked with Kim in forwarding legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs, invest in our infrastructure, protect the environment, and so much more. But with National Republicans gearing up to spend big against her once again, it's clear that she has a tough fight ahead of her.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee knows holding Kim's Frontline seat is critical if we want to take back the House majority in 2024. But defending Kim's seat is going to be an uphill battle.

National Republicans spent over $8 MILLION in the last cycle to try and defeat Kim and elect her MAGA opponent. We can expect more of the same in 2024, so we need to start helping Kim prepare now.
