Treasurer Rachael Eubanks, Treasury
Podcast host Rachael Eubanks was appointed as Michigan's 47th State Treasurer by Governor Gretchen Whitmer in January of 2019. Treasurer Eubanks is committed to building Treasury's culture of service to Michiganders through continuous improvement and employee engagement, which are the foundation of Treasury's mission to provide fair and efficient financial services to all taxpayers for the long-term fiscal health and stability of our state.

Director Brian Rakovitis, CEDAM-Economic Inclusion
As the director of economic inclusion, Brian Rakovitis oversees the execution of CEDAM?s Economic Inclusion (EI) work, which aims to create inclusive systems change that creates more pathways to lift people across the state out of poverty. His work includes coordinating the Children?s Savings Accounts (CSA) Network and Michigan Economic Impact Coalition (MEIC), as well as supporting Show Me The Money Day (SMTMD) and the Midwest Asset Building Conference.
Before joining CEDAM in 2017, Brian served as an?AmeriCorps?member through CEDAM?s Michigan Foreclosure Prevention Corps at?United Way of Washtenaw County. After his service in AmeriCorps, Brian stayed on at United Way as a financial empowerment specialist. Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Anthropology and his Master of Public Administration from?Eastern Michigan University
