Just last week, a Trump-appointed district judge in Texas suspended the FDA’s approval of mifepristone — a lifesaving drug used for medication abortion and miscarriages.
Instead of being based on facts and science, this ruling is rooted in politically-charged misinformation. Throughout his ruling, the judge echoes language used by anti-abortion activists and the right-wing media to undermine mifepristone’s proven safety — nearly word for word.
The best way to fight back against this kind of bad information and defend our rights is with good information. That’s where we come in.
