John,
A few weeks ago, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz caved to pressure from Senator Bernie Sanders after being threatened with a subpoena and testified before the US Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee on Starbucks’ repeated union-busting and intimidation tactics.
Now, it’s Amazon’s Jeff Bezos’ turn.
Like Starbucks, Amazon has been violating federal labor law by harassing and firing union supporters, forcing workers to attend anti-union captive audience meetings, and hiring union-busting law firms.
They’re doing everything in their power to halt the momentum of the Amazon Labor Union, but have — for the most part — evaded any significant federal prosecution.
Demanding answers directly from Jeff Bezos would be a step forward in highlighting the labor abuses of Amazon, working towards accountability, and halt the union-busting tirade.

Billionaires like Jeff Bezos don’t think the law applies to them. That’s why they break it over and over again.
Getting dragged to testify for the illegal firings, intimidation campaigns, and other union-busting activities sends a message that big corporations are not above the law ― and workers aren’t afraid anymore.
We can only win this fight if we stand together in solidarity.
It’s not just about Amazon. Workers across the country are standing up and forming unions themselves like we did. Whether it’s Trader Joe’s, Home Depot, Chipotle, Apple — this is one fight. And it’s one that we absolutely have to win.
Sign your name now to ask Chairman Bernie Sanders: Subpoena Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Andy Jassy for union-busting.
