Free Workshops for Minnesota?s small and disadvantaged businesses aim to assist with government contracting

Brooklyn Center???The 24th Annual Small and Disadvantaged Business Opportunities Council Government Procurement Fair will be happening on Thursday, April 20 at the Heritage Center of Brooklyn Center. Small businesses interested in doing business with government agencies and prime contractors are encouraged to attend this premier event. Coupling education with marketing strategies, this event will provide small businesses an opportunity to meet with representatives from federal, state, and local departments, commercial/prime contractors, and nonprofit organizations.?
This in-person event will feature 47 exhibitors from federal and state government, non-profit service providers, and prime contractors. Over 20 workshops will be available to attend, providing information on the basics of selling to the government, as well current and developing trends in contracting with government agencies. The event is being sponsored by the Federal Executive Board?s Small and Disadvantaged Business Opportunities Council (SADBOC), in cooperation with?the State of Minnesota?s APEX Accelerator (formerly PTAC).
