There’s a packed programme for The Big One
The Big One at Houses of Parliament 21-24 April

Dear John

With only 3 days to go, things are getting exciting!

The Big One is now supported by over 200 organisations and features over 100 events.

What are the main events?

On Friday and Monday, there will be 16 People's Pickets led by 128 groups at key Government departments  Find out more about the pickets here.

On Saturday - Earth Day, the global environmental awareness day - join the Biodiversity March. This parade of reflection and celebration will have masks, costumes and nature-based art to honour and respect our natural world and all endangered species. Gather from midday to begin the march by hearing from an exciting lineup of speakers including Chris Packham.

On Sunday, together we’ll make 20,000 paper boats to be posted to MPs and Home Secretary Suella Braverman.

These are just the headlines - hundreds more events will be happening around Parliament from Friday to Monday. Find all the events, speakers and a clickable calendar in the new expanded programme.

There will be mass gatherings, involving tens of thousands of people like Saturday’s Biodiversity March, as well as smaller community-led events at the eight community hubs running spaces focused on education, health, faith and more. Learn about the hubs here.

Here’s a 2 min video as a reminder of why we’re gathering. Make The Big One even more impactful by sharing this with others.

See you in Westminster.

Love and rage,
Extinction Rebellion UK
