Hey there, folks —

When we passed the American Rescue Plan in 2021, I fought to make sure my Child Tax Credit was included in the final bill.

In less than a year, we kept 4 million children out of poverty, cut child poverty in half, and cut hunger in families with children by 25%.

Most importantly, it gave working families a much-needed break on Tax Day.

Since the Child Tax Credit expired, Republicans have made it clear that they will not renew it. And now, Kevin McCarthy has just said he intends to cut food aid for working families nationwide.

That's why I'm still fighting to make the Child Tax Credit permanent, and won't stop until we do. We can end child poverty and build an economy that works for everyone — not just a few at the top — and it's policies like the Child Tax Credit that will get us there.

Will you join me today and recommit to making the Child Tax Credit permanent by adding your name as a citizen co-sponsor so we can help millions of children across the country?
