John, Republicans should be ashamed -- but instead, they've got no problem legislating directly against the will of the people and destroying reproductive rights across the country.

By now you've seen the news coming out of Florida. Just before midnight last Thursday, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a near-total ban on abortion, eviscerating the reproductive rights of millions. He even took to social media afterward and claimed that signing this draconian piece of legislation would strengthen the rights of pregnant individuals and families.

We know this couldn't be further from the truth. We also know that Florida wasn't the beginning of the Republican campaign of cruelty to undermine and eliminate abortion access -- and it won't be the end, either.

Fired up? Ready to fight back? Donate now to take a stand against these dangerous attacks on our rights by helping to elect Democratic pro-choice women everywhere:

Anti-choice Republican extremists across the country have been on a crusade to take this country backward for decades, with a particular explosion in legislation since the overturning of Roe v. Wade last summer. Florida could become one of 15 states to enact near-total bans on abortion since the Supreme Court ruled that Americans do not have a right to bodily autonomy. Eight more states have attempted to pass similar bans, but the legislation has been temporarily blocked by courts.

Many anti-choice Republicans have suddenly stopped speaking out on abortion rights -- even Ron DeSantis signed the Florida ban under cover of night, behind a closed door. They know the vast majority of Americans support abortion. Which is how we know the truth: The cruelty of these bans is the point. It's not about listening to or protecting constituents. It's about cruelty and power. Period.

So how do we fight back? The answer is simple: We fight hard to elect Democratic pro-choice women to *every* level of office. From state legislatures to governorships to Congress and beyond, we need fierce leaders who will fight for our rights and can send these shameful anti-choice legislators packing.

Are you in? Donate now to send anti-choice extremists a clear message: The majority of America is pro-choice and we're not backing down >>
