Since 1999, House Republicans have been spearheading an effort to get Washington bureaucrats out of your paycheck. The FairTax is a popular proposal that will eliminate the IRS, Tax Day, and all federal income and payroll taxes.  

This issue can be complex and very confusing. There is a lot of misinformation out there about the FairTax itself. To remedy that, I have created a page on my website dedicated solely to information around this proposal. You can find it here.
