Dear John,

This just in: President Biden just announced the largest set of actions on care in history.

Biden’s executive order will lift up tens of millions of caregivers and care recipients like you. This administration has heard your calls.

Now, Congress needs to pass comprehensive care legislation for paid leave for all, affordable child care, accessible aging and disabled care – and we'll be there every step of the way to make it happen. Nearly 15,000 people have joined this movement in the last month alone.

In the next few months, we're going to ramp up our work in major ways with today's announcement at our backs. Your support makes that possible – a donation today can help our movement grow even more. John, are you with us?

Biden’s executive order is the most comprehensive set of actions on care EVER and will create a roadmap for federal agencies to drastically improve care programs for parents, family caregivers, disabled people, aging adults, veterans, direct care workers, child care workers, and Indigenous communities.

It will:

* Make childcare and aging and disability care more affordable
* Make it easier for caregivers to access federal programs
* Improve access to care for veterans
* Ensure care jobs are good jobs
* Lift up Black, Indigenous, and other women of color who are most affected by the care crisis

Biden isn’t waiting to help families and care workers who are struggling and neither are we.

Caregiving in this country has been historically undervalued and underpaid, because of who it’s been associated with – women in our families, and Black women and women of color who represent the majority of the care workforce today. This executive order begins the work of making care more valued and visible for all.

We’ve only just begun to create a more caring country. Can we count you in?
