Pro-Homosexual “Pride Week” Announced at Catholic University

While Catholic students fight to preserve moral values on campus, Marquette University -- a Catholic institution -- plans to host events that destroy morality.

"Pride Week" on campus includes:

Pro-transgender movie (April 18)
Drag Bingo with immoral drag queens (April 20)
Pride Prom (April 22)

This event is a brazen challenge to God’s order.

No Catholic campus should sponsor a pro-homosexual drag show or a formal prom that celebrates unnatural behavior that deeply offends God.

To promote pride for any sinful lifestyle cuts at the root of Catholic education.

St. Thomas Aquinas teaches that pride -- as an act of contempt for God -- is one of the worst sins.

And just a few steps away from the campus Chapel of the Holy Family – where the Most Blessed Eucharist is reserved -- this sinful “Pride Week” event is scheduled to take place.

What a sacrilege.

So please join the peaceful protest today.

Did you ever wonder if your petition does any good?

The answer is YES.

Success #1: Loyola University Maryland pulled its internship entry for the radical pro-abortion group, National Organization for Women (NOW). 11,171 joined this TFP petition.

Success #2: Jesuit-run Georgetown University yanked its listing of Medical Students for Choice, a pro-abortion group that teaches students how to perform abortions. 15,380 signed the TFP petition.

Success #3: After TFP Student Action collected 9,000 petitions, Boston College deleted Planned Parenthood from its list of internship offers.

You see, when we band together to defend the Faith, victory is possible.

But I'm not optimistic.

When TFP Student Action held a campaign at Marquette for moral values in the past, the response was ugly.

Pro-transgender activists swarmed the sidewalk. They cursed, ripped up TFP leaflets and even physically blocked the word “God” on our pro-family banner.

“Pride” – the sin of Lucifer – is involved.

Nevertheless, like the Saints who came before us -- you and I must continue to proclaim the truth with charity and holy boldness.

For 2,000 years the Catholic Church has vanquished error and sin.

Now it's our turn to stand firm and renew our fidelity to the law of God and our fidelity to the Magisterium of the Holy Catholic Church.
