John,
Breaking news: The Minnesota Senate will vote on the Elections Omnibus bill and keep Ranked Choice Voting moving forward THIS Thursday, April 20! We need you to take two important steps to ensure the bill passes:
1. Join us at the State Capitol Thursday to show your support [[link removed]] ! This is our moment, and we want to pack the Capitol with supporters. We’ll be gathering outside the Senate chamber in the Capitol Building at the start of the Senate floor session (tentatively at noon). While we don’t know when the vote will be taken, we’ll be there to see it through. Stay as long as you can or take a break and come back when the vote is up, and we’ll send an alert when we expect the vote to take place.

2. Contact your senator and ask them to vote YES on the Elections Omnibus Bill [[link removed]] . This is a key moment, and your senator needs to hear from you before the vote on Thursday!

While the RCV component of the bill has gone through some changes and may require further amendments, it is critical that Ranked Choice Voting is included in the Omnibus bill so that it continues to advance in the legislative process.
This is a big week for RCV at the legislature, and we hope to see you on Thursday. Thank you for everything you are doing to help advance RCV in Minnesota!
Sincerely,
Your FairVote MN team
